Free Motion Embroidery Workshop

A small group of ladies attended our beginners free motion embroidery workshop on Saturday and we had a fab time. Starting with the basics of setting up the sewing machine, we then practiced the art of 'free motion' using hands to move the fabric freely under the embroidery foot.

When they felt ready, the next step involved the most difficult decisions, choosing fabric colours and patterns to create a design or picture. Everyone left happy and with a completed piece ready to frame or turn into a card. I simply love sharing this wonderfully creative art form, we had such fun and it makes me so happy to see the smiles.
