Weddings, Weddings and more.....

I love a wedding and we recently attended one set in the grounds of a beautiful manor house in Cambridgeshire. The weather was warm and the celebrations went on late into the night, it was wonderful sitting in the garden with a glass of wine catching up with friends and relaxing away from work. I love that its currently popular to have a wedding theme, especially when its a rustic or vintage theme. All our brides personal finishing touches turned the venue into something really special.

I just cant help myself, everywhere I go I look at things with a creative eye and so much gives me new inspiration. That inspiration got me thinking again about my 'coming soon' wedding page. Its funny how fate works sometimes isnt it! I had all these wedding ideas rattling around in my head and then last week I was actually pushed into doing something.

I had been planning to make and upload some products, but being so busy I hadnt managed to do it. Then only by chance, I noticed a Facebook post promoting a Wedding Showcase in an Event field on a local farm.

It made me think of the wonderfully romantic 'Little Wedding Shop' trilogy by Jane Linfoot, that I read earlier this year (highly recommended if you fancy some light easy to read fiction). That was it, finally...... 'get ones derrière in gear'. So I did it all in the space of a week, sourced some reclaimed wood (always thinking of the environment) and made a selection of wedding signs. Then pushed myself even further to produce leaflets to go in the event brochure and updated the website. Im am so pleased with the signs and the two brides that have already placed orders were over the moon too.
